IF Comp '08 Review - C. Yong's The Missing Piece!
I have been avoiding spoilers, but it’s very difficult to read up on the games I have played without picking up tidbits about the games I haven’t, so while I don’t really know anything about Nightfall I am expecting it to be good. This is why I am saving it for last. Also, George Shannon doesn’t consider The Missing Piece to be IF, and I want to know why.

“I am the Wizard of Life. The whole land is going to be engulfed by evil force should you decide to quit now. You are our last hope.”
Seriously, guys, when it’s saving-the-world time, don’t even call me, ‘cause this sort of thing just makes me giggle, and you’ll just get pissed off, and then the world will be consumed by evil force. Not forces, mind you, just the one.
Who are you calling a complete nut, game? I’m not the one who goes around telling people I’m the Wizard of freakin’ Life here.

Some people is wimmins. I myself is a wimmins. It’s pretty neat actually. We’ve got squishy bits.
Yeah, this really is more of a dungeon hack. I might play around with it some later, but I don’t think I could score it as IF (it’s hard enough scoring actual IF games as IF) and I’m in a bit of a time crunch (forgot about April in Paris, and I’ve got half a Berrost’s Challenge review saved from like forever ago, and then there’s Nightfall), so I’m going to leave this one alone for now.
